What is a “Xhuuya” anyway?
That’s me!
My actual name is Dylan, but I’ve been going by Xhuuya in most online spaces for more than a decade! I like to say that the pronunciation is “boo-yah!” with a Z sound, like “zoo”.
I’m a happily married nonbinary artist and designer in Raleigh, NC. I grew up in both Virginia Beach and the Outer Banks. I met my now wife in a high school creative writing class, and we married each other on the 10 year anniversary of our first kiss. If I’m doing anything, it’s always with her support.
